This has been the first time after I gave birth that I attended an event and it presented the perfect opportunity to make a sartorial statement with my outfit to celebrate my postpartum body. When I am looking for outfits for a special occasion, I always visit Ajatar in Forum, knowing that everything in the boutique is a show-stopping piece whether it’s a coat, accessory or dress.

Ajatar is located in the iconic glass corner of Forum since 1952. Managing Director Sari Ihatsu explains that Ajatar’s philosophy is based on the concept of ‘La bella figura’. All pieces at Ajatar are hand-picked, unique, well- proportioned and beautiful in order to highlight a woman’s best sides and complement her personality for every occasion.

La Bella Figura means ‘the beautiful figure’ in Italian but the philosophy of the concept is extended to always put your best foot forward, be gracious and make a positive impression as well as being selective, purchasing timeless, classic styles and choosing quality over quantity. At Ajatar, you will find exactly that! Timeless quality and beauty. Below you can see the beautiful window showcasing a few of the TedBaker items, don’t you want them all?

I visited Ajatar a couple of days before the EventoAwards 2016 gala and found this heavenly Ted Baker dress as shown on the right on the window above, which I paired with red heels. How do I look?

I opted for understated elegance with this Karolie Secret Trellis Print Dress from Ted Baker for EventoAwards 2016. I wanted a dress that looks like spring on fabric and it has Evento magazine‘s colours: white and green! This feminine dress is crafted with an all-white fitted sleeveless bodice that perfectly complements the Secret Trellis floral print full skirt up to the knee with inverted pleats that add lovely volume (photo 1). In addition, an illusion V-back detail and an exposed zip at the back add a pretty finishing touch (photo 2). Last, the dress is featuring a round neck and pockets (photo 3).

My ladylike floral dress got immensely positive comments during the Evento Awards 2016 gala. Many women already knew that I am wearing TedBaker and complimented me for my choice!

British luxury clothing retailer Ted Baker is famed for its feminine, floral, flirty style. I love the brand’s innovative take on 60’s styles and I am smitten with the designs, colors, patterns and lengths on all of his collections. Ted Baker clothes are high quality, well-made, and crafted with attention to detail.Ted Baker dresses have a timeless appeal and this dress -in particular- will live in my closet for years to come. I am looking forward to wearing it again on the next occasion this summer!
